At the Distrito Audiovisual, guest festival BFF features a lineup of films specially selected for the Festival de la Bici. Buenos Aires joins an extensive list of world cities such as Hong Kong, Tokyo, New York, Moscow, Lisbon, London and Madrid, which have alredy taken part in this experience. The 7 programs of the BFF include shorts and medium-length films for all tastes. The closing film, to be screened on Sunday 28, will be the award-winning French animated movie Las trillizas de Belleville, by Sylvain Chomet, with music by Benoit Charest.

The thriving urban cultureis exhibited in two fashion shows that will harmoniously combine fashion design, bike models and other accessories from premium brands, industry’s traditional manufacturers, and the best projects from a course in the Industrial Design Program at the University of Buenos Aires.

On Sunday, October 28, the Anfiteatro del ParqueCentenario will host a lineup of shows linked conceptually and empirically to the global urban bikeculture, featuring the performances of four of the best bands on the emerging Buenos Aires scene.

Promotional and awareness-raising activities on the benefits of bicycling as a sustainable transportation mode will be held in the form of eight meetings featuring specialists in the area, where attendees will have the opportunity to learn, ask and become spontaneous promoters of this urban culture.

In a setting specially prepared for the occasion there will be exhibitions of skills and freestyle demonstrations from the best and most talented bikers in Buenos Aires.A true art on wheels and in motion to boost the adrenaline.
top SPECIAL ACTIVITIES
The collective STS Rosario (Soluciones Tecnológicas Sustentables) will exhibit their project RAP (Recital a Pedal). The friendly Shimano Fest, held at El Rosedal, will offer basic bike mechanics workshops for children and adults. Andthe Planetario’s full-dome theater will screen the audiovisual experience ofBikestorming: En Bici al Futuro, a journeyinto the past, present and possible futures of urban transport on our planet.
top PARTICIPATORY GAMES
A recreational space meant for the enjoyment of children and adults. There will be three different activities to take part in:Los Bicimecánicos game, in which teams made up of members above 12 years assemble bicycles; learning how to draw a bike in 30 seconds, as part of a collective work between children and adults;and accompanyingthe little ones (0–6years) on a tricycle ride,around a circuit specially designed for them.

Some of today’s most relevant street artists, designers and illustrators in Buenos Aires will transform, with their own style and inspiration, e-bikes and sidecars in an effort coordinated by renowned graphic designer and artist Juan Pablo Cambariere.
